- Vehicle Size. Full size Pickup Trucks cost more to ship than Compact Cars.
- Location, Location, Location. For your convenience, we strive to make all of shipments door to door. However, if you are in a remote location, consider selecting a location closer to an interstate to help reduce your car shipping cost.

What our Country Club customers say about Sherpa:
“Top Line Auto Service based out of California dropped the car off. The two brothers met me. I had spoken to Joseph on the phone, and figured out what direction they were coming from, which was east from Florida. And based on where I live, I gave them the best place that I thought would be the easiest to pull up an 18-wheeler, and with a truckload of cars, to offload it and meet them to where they could easily get back on the interstate again and go about their day without having to snake through city traffic.”
“It didn’t take me too long to get my date I wanted to sent my car from Crestview, Florida to Denver Colorado. I gave Shane the date May 23rd I asked for and the driver arrived on that day I asked for. The dispatcher from the company assigned for me were incredible, the lady dispatcher were on top of informing me on date when the driver will come to pick my car.”
“The pickup was in a rural part of Florida and I was concerned that it was off of a major highway. But that didn`t make a difference. Once they made their commitment that they would pick up the car around 4:00 on that Wednesday, they were there on point. We were able to put a few boxes in the car that I would have had to pay UPS or ship my uncle`s personal things.”

Note: These figures are based on Sherpa’s actual data from the past 12 months of vehicle shipments to or from Country Club, FL. When choosing an auto transport company, it is crucial to select the best car shipping company by considering factors such as reliability, customer satisfaction, and transparency in pricing.
Factors that affect Country Club Car Shipping Prices
- Distance: The length of the journey from Country Club, FL to the destination greatly affects car shipping costs. Longer distances typically result in higher prices, but per-mile rates often decrease for longer trips.
- Transport Type: Open car transport is the most common and cost-effective option for shipping vehicles to or from Country Club, FL. Enclosed transport, while about 50% pricier, offers extra protection for high-value or classic cars against Florida’s occasional harsh weather.
- Vehicle Size: Larger or heavier vehicles, such as SUVs or trucks, cost more to ship than standard cars due to the space they occupy on the carrier.
- Pickup and Delivery Locations: Country Club’s proximity to major highways like I-95 and the Florida Turnpike can help reduce costs. Rural locations may incur additional fees.
- Seasonal Demand: Auto transport to and from Country Club, FL may be pricier during peak seasons, such as winter when snowbirds flock to Florida, or during major events in nearby Miami.
- Delivery Timeframe: Flexible pickup and delivery dates often result in lower car shipping costs. Expedited services for urgent transport needs will increase the price.
- Vehicle Condition: Operable vehicles are cheaper to ship than inoperable ones, which require special equipment for loading and unloading.
Understanding these factors can help you make informed decisions when shipping a car to or from Country Club, FL. Country Club Car Transport: Local Insights and Regulations
When shipping your car to or from Country Club, FL, it’s essential to understand local vehicle requirements and regulations. Florida doesn’t have a specific toll reader system, but the SunPass is widely used throughout the state. If you’re moving away, consider removing your SunPass to avoid unexpected charges. For those moving to Country Club, you can easily obtain a SunPass online or at various retail locations.
Florida requires all vehicles to pass a basic safety inspection before registration. Once you’ve established residency, you have 30 days to register your vehicle. The process involves visiting a local tax collector’s office with proof of insurance, title, and identification. Country Club, being part of Miami-Dade County, may have specific parking regulations, so check with local authorities about any required permits.
When settling in Country Club, you’ll need to set up utilities. Florida Power & Light (FPL) is the primary electricity provider, while the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department handles water services. For internet, popular providers include AT&T, Xfinity, and Spectrum. Don’t forget to update your voter registration and, if you have children, enroll them in local schools.
Country Club’s subtropical climate means hot, humid summers and mild winters. When using car shipping services to transport your vehicle, consider this climate. Inform your auto transport company about any climate-sensitive items in your car. The area is well-connected by major highways like I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike, making it accessible for car transport companies.
If you’re moving away from Country Club, remember to cancel local memberships, forward your mail, and notify important contacts of your address change. Whether you’re coming or going, choosing a reliable car shipping company is crucial for a smooth transition. With its unique blend of urban amenities and Florida charm, Country Club offers a distinctive living experience for new residents and a fond farewell for those moving on.
Country Club, Florida Vehicle Transport FAQs
How do I prepare my vehicle for transit to or from Country Club?

In short, you’ll want to remove any toll pass or fragile items, make sure you have a key available to provide the carrier, and remove any interior and exterior accessories that could be damaged in transit.
Is my vehicle insured transporting to or from Country Club?
Yes, our quotes are all-inclusive. All of our carriers are required to have a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance and $100,000 in cargo insurance. To ship your vehicle, we verify that the carrier’s insurance policy is valid and in good standing for the duration of your shipment.
All contracted carriers also add Sherpa as a Certificate Holder on their insurance policy.
How far out should I schedule my pickup service from Country Club?
The sooner, the better. We recommend at least two weeks, but it’s ideal to post your shipment as soon as possible so that carriers can bundle your shipment with others in the same location.
How do I pay for my auto transport to Country Club?
No payment is due at the time of booking. We do require a payment method on file so that it is available to charge once a carrier is secured. We accept all major debit and credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. We also allow you to pay for your Initial Payment via credit or debit card and then pay the outstanding balance on delivery day via cash or a certified check made out to the carrier.

What’s the difference between Open vs Enclosed Auto Transport?
Enclosed transport is at least 50% higher than open trailers. Of course, if there are transportation restrictions or safety challenges the carrier will work with you to arrange an alternative location, such as a nearby gas station or parking lot.

We provide one locked-in price upfront and stick to it. If unexpected costs arise, we pay them out of our own pocket. While we may not always be the cheapest option at first glance, our commitment to transparency and reliability offers exceptional value. What types of vehicles can you transport?
We transport sedans, SUVs, pickup trucks, vans and motorcycles across the nation, including service to Alaska and Hawaii. At this time, we do not service boats, golf carts, ATVs, or RVs. Seasonal Guide to Ship a Car in Country Club
When planning car shipping to or from Country Club, FL, it’s crucial to consider the area’s unique climate and seasonal factors. Country Club experiences a subtropical climate, characterized by hot, humid summers and mild winters. Here are some practical tips to ensure a smooth auto transport experience:
- Summer Considerations: From June to September, temperatures can soar. When shipping a car during these months, place a sunshade under the windshield to protect the interior. Avoid leaving heat-sensitive items in the vehicle, as they may melt or warp.
- Hurricane Season: June through November is hurricane season in Florida. If possible, schedule your car transport outside this period to avoid potential delays or risks.

Remember, working with a reputable car shipping company like Sherpa Auto Transport ensures your vehicle is handled with care, regardless of the season. Our experts can provide additional guidance on the best times to ship your car and how to prepare it for the Florida climate.
Reviews from our Florida Customers
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, as evidenced by our 4.9 rating with over 8,000 reviews. Here are a few more reviews from satisfied Florida customers:
“Our daughter was moving from Florida to California for a transfer with her job and she needed to ship a 2010 Toyota RAV4. She looked at a few transport companies online and contacted one company. They took a deposit and sent the contract. But we didn’t like the terms of their contract at all and they didn’t have a very good rating on the Better Business Bureau. Then, we found Sherpa and we went with them. We’re very happy with our experience from start to finish. Their name is very cool and certainly good marketing on their part because it’s easy to remember. The customer service rep we had answered very quickly and explained the whole process. He told us a little bit about how the industry works and a little bit about how we don’t pay a deposit until we see the contract. The contract was just attached to the quote so we could take a look at the whole thing and see what we were getting into. Then we called back and told them to go ahead and look for a driver for us. It was a very easy transaction and their people were very good to talk to. They didn’t pester us, they told us what we needed to know, and were very professional. The cost was slightly higher but we liked their betting process. We felt like we were probably going to get a better-quality driver with valid insurance so to us, it was worth a little bit more money. It was certainly something we could live with because we would then have an assurance that we were getting somebody who we really wanted to trust our car to. And the terms of the contract were quite reasonable, especially compared to the other one we looked at before. We were working under a pretty tight deadline around the holidays, so we were concerned that things might be delayed. But Sherpa found someone and about half an hour later, we were meeting with the driver to drop the car off. Sherpa had to pay a free-hand to get someone to do the transport but they didn’t pass the cost on to us, which was very wonderful. The driver was very reputable and he was taking a lot of care documenting the car`s condition before it got on the truck. Also, the route from Florida to California was the only run that he did, so that made us feel better. We met him again with our daughter on the other end and he was very professional as well. He delivered the car right on time and very close to our daughter`s apartment. Everything was perfect. We would use Sherpa again and we would recommend them.”
“I purchased a Hummer that was in the backwoods Northwest part of Arkansas and I live in ********, Florida. I had no desire to be in a car that long and some friends suggested to have it shipped by professionals. My initial inquiry into the car shipping business was not good. I contacted a company in New York (I think?), and from the first day of the call, I never spoke to the same person twice, never got an actual quote, never was given promised call-backs, and most importantly, the name of the company on the phone changed at times. I knew I was dealing with something very shady. I quick check on ****/************ showed over 850 complaints, rip offs, shake-downs, and extortion in some cases by customers to get their vehicles off of the trucks at destination points by drivers who had invoices with different numbers that customers agreed up and even had signed contracts. This scared me a bit, until I called a friend in New York and explained my situation. My friend explained the business to me very quickly. He said it is very risky if you do not know who you are dealing with. That is when he said he and his family had been dealing with Sherpa for years. They ship cars between NY and Florida all the time. I called Sherpa right away and from the first minute I knew I was dealing with pros. I was given a price, a timeline, and great customer service. I received a call back on same day with all the details, the driver`s name, an explanation of why a window was needed for delivery, and most important, the confidence that I could call if I had any questions. Delivery went off without a hitch. Car arrived exactly at the time the driver said he would be there (only 3 days from my initial call), and now I have my Hummer in ********! Cost was very fair, probably less than gas Hummer would have cost from AR to FL, and experience with Sherpa was stress free and professional. I would recommend them to all who value professional experience over saving a few bucks with fly-by-night hustlers. ***********”
“Outstanding company! I recently had death in my family and had to get my uncle’s car from Florida to Maryland. The paperwork to change ownership of the car was slow, but Sherpa Auto Transport stayed in touch with me. They called once a week to ensure me that the price we had initially agreed to would still be honored. They were very compassionate about my situation. They said as soon as I told them the car was ready, they would find a driver. Each step of the way, Sherpa Auto Transport followed up with an email. As soon as I told them the paperwork was in order, I got a call and an email within 20 minutes telling me the driver was ready to pick the car up. LMK Logistics showed up 30 minutes later. The driver was very courtesy, and I could tell he had many years of experience with loading and securing vehicles on the truck. My sister got the car within 24 hours telling her that the driver was about 30 minutes away from her home. After the car was delivered, I received another email from Sherpa Auto Transport confirming the delivery of my vehicle and to tell me that I was entitled to a free car wash on them. I have stored the name and number of this company in my phone for future reference. I highly recommend Sherpa Auto Transport to coordinate the move of any of your vehicles. You will not experience a better class of service. Thank you so much for easing my pain due to the death of my uncle. I will be using you and recommending you to others in the future.”
“Just used them to transport my mom`s old 1993 Del Sol from Inverness, FL to Pittsburgh, PA. Created the request on Sat 7 Oct. Same day I received confirmation of the booking and price (lower than the other companies I contacted). Received an email on Sun 8 Oct that they were still searching for a driver. On Mon 9 Oct, I received an email indicating a driver was located. At 3 PM I received a call informing me the driver would like to pick up at 6 PM the same day. Wow that was quick. Driver arrived at 6:40 pm on Mon 9 Oct – first working day after my initial contact. The driver did call me directly to confirm the person she was to obtain the car from – my sister. Since the truck was so large and my Pittsburgh location is down narrow streets, I decided to change the delivery location to a barely used strip mall directly off the interstate. On Tue at 9:10 AM I texted the new location to my Sherpa contact. My Sherpa contact agreed and indicated the car should be delivered the same day. The driver did call me, 30 minutes before she expected to arrive at the strip mall parking lot. Wow by 6:30 PM on Tue 10 Oct the car was delivered in perfect condition. Seriously it could not have been easier or better service delivered. I highly recommend Sherpa Auto Transport!!!!”
“From the moment I contacted Sherpa Auto Transport, everything was smooth and efficient. I placed a call on Friday, had a call back by Saturday morning and transport arranged by Monday. They picked the car up in FL on Wednesday morning and we had it in San Antonio, TX on Thursday night. The driver was very responsive and courteous and his truck was immaculate. I was also extremely impressed with his driving ability. We have a sloped driveway and he maneuvered the trailer deftly right up to the garage door with literally a half inch of clearance to spare. The car arrived in the exact condition it was when it left. I have never transported a car before and to say it was a little bit daunting is an understatement. After getting the run around from another carrier, Sherpa really stepped in and made things easy. They were patient, explained the process thoroughly and answered all my questions without making me feel stupid for asking. I transported a car that was my father’s (a 1964 Porsche 356) that is very special to our family and I would trust Sherpa with it again.”

What is Car Shipping?
Car shipping, also known as auto transport or vehicle transport, is a specialized service provided by car shipping companies to move vehicles from one location to another. Whether you’re buying or selling a car online, relocating to a new home in Country Club, or needing to transport a vehicle abroad, car shipping companies have the expertise and equipment to handle the job safely and efficiently. These companies use specialized carriers and trailers to ensure your vehicle is transported securely, giving you peace of mind throughout the process.
About the Car Shipping Industry
Car shipping is a fascinating industry. There are Carriers – the businesses that pickup and transport vehicles – and there are Brokers – the businesses that help Carriers source their customers. Carriers are primarily mom & pop small businesses who own and operate their trucks and trailers – many of whom own and operate their businesses out of Florida. This means there are thousands of carriers and this fragmentation creates a need for centralization. That’s why Carriers rely on Brokers – like Sherpa – to help optimize their loads and source business for them. Sherpa vets Carriers and has a strict list of requirements for any Carrier looking to do business with Sherpa Auto Transport.
