What our Miami customers say about Sherpa:
"I started getting literally dozens of calls/emails/emails after I put out a need for a shipper...I guess it`s a cut throat business!! Anyways, I was getting prices from $1300 to $2300 from San Francisco to Miami and it was pretty confusing so I decided to read the reviews and went with Sherpa since it was 5 star rated and had good reviews. Price was $1650, no fees upfront other than $50 AFTER the shipper was confirmed. Car took a few days longer to arrive but no big deal...They held the price, no surprises and no changes. Car was dirty as hell from cross country on open truck but that was expected...No damages. I would hire them again."
"I needed my car shipped from Miami to Los Angeles. I worked with Sherpa who were very professional and guided me through the entire process. Sherpa connected me to Skyline Auto Relocation with a pick up date between Dec 7-11. They picked up my car on Dec 8th (right on time) and gave me a delivery window of Dec 14-17. It arrive on Dec 15th (right on time again!) in perfect condition. I have never been more pleased with a car shipment than I was with Sherpa. And the price was affordable and never changed from the original quote. I would recommend Sherpa to anyone who wants their car shipped in the US."
"They picked up my car near Philadelphia and delivered it to me in Miami approximately four days after they picked it up. The driver was not able to bring his truck directly to my house because the area has a lot of trees and the truck might not have been able to clear those trees, so we work something out where I met the driver at his truck and he followed me back to my house in the car that was transported and then I drove him back to his truck. Nice guy with what sounded to me like a Russian accent, but as it turns out, he is from the country of Georgia. Good experience - car arrived in good shape."

Factors that affect Miami Car Shipping Prices
- Distance: Miami's location at the southern tip of Florida impacts shipping costs. Longer distances, such as from Miami to the West Coast, typically cost more than shorter routes within Florida or to nearby states.
- Trailer Type: Open trailers are the most common and cost-effective option for shipping to or from Miami. Enclosed trailers, while offering protection from Florida's sun and occasional tropical storms, cost about 50% more and may have longer delivery times.
- Pickup and Drop-off Locations: Miami's urban setting usually means lower costs compared to rural areas. However, if you're shipping to or from the Florida Keys or remote parts of the Everglades, expect higher prices due to limited access.
- Pickup Window: Sherpa's most budget-friendly option is a five-day pickup window. Rush services in Miami, especially during peak tourist seasons, will increase your costs.
- Vehicle Size: Larger vehicles like SUVs or trucks, popular in Miami for beach trips and outdoor activities, cost more to ship than compact cars due to their weight and size.
- Vehicle Condition: Non-running vehicles are pricier to ship as they require special equipment. Ensure your car is in working order to avoid extra fees.
- Time of Year: Miami's peak tourist seasons (winter and summer) can affect auto transport prices. Hurricane season (June to November) might also impact shipping schedules and costs.
- Route Popularity: Miami's major highways like I-95 and I-75 are busy routes, potentially lowering costs due to high carrier availability. However, congestion during rush hours or holidays can affect delivery times.

Tips & Tricks for Saving on Vehicle Shipping
- Book early: Schedule your shipment at least two weeks in advance. This allows carriers to optimize routes and potentially offer discounts for bundling vehicles from Miami.
- Choose open transport: Open shipping provides the lowest rates and greatest flexibility for negotiating prices.
- Optimize pickup/dropoff locations: Consult with Sherpa advisors to find convenient spots near major interstates like I-95 or I-75, which run through Miami. This can significantly reduce fuel costs for carriers.
- Empty your vehicle: Remove personal items to reduce weight and avoid potential liability issues.
- Be flexible with dates: Offering a range of pickup and delivery dates can help you secure better pricing options.
- Consider seasonal timing: Miami's peak tourist season (December to April) can affect transport prices. If possible, schedule your shipment during off-peak months for potential savings.
- Prepare your vehicle: Ensure your car is in good working condition to avoid any delays or additional charges during the transport process.
- Communicate clearly: Provide accurate information about your vehicle and transport needs to avoid any surprises or extra costs later.
