What our Town n Country customers say about Sherpa:
“The pickup was in a rural part of Florida and I was concerned that it was off of a major highway. But that didn’t make a difference. Once they made their commitment that they would pick up the car around 4:00 on that Wednesday, they were there on point. We were able to put a few boxes in the car that I would have had to pay UPS or ship my uncle’s personal things. But I made sure that there was no obstruction of view and the front seat was completely clear of anything.”
“From the day the vehicle was picked it up to drop-off, that was seven days. The driver was a really good guy. I had his number and the truck had LoJack on it so I could keep track of the vehicle. It was fun. The app would tell you if your car exceeds the maximum limit and I kept getting these notifications. You could see he was on the interstate highway and cruising along. He never exceeded the limit by that much. The driver picked up three cars in Florida and they all got dropped off in California.”
“We had two cars to transport from south florida to San Diego. Our sons are both marines newly stationed in CA and they needed their cars. I spoke to another transport company who quote $2500 per car. When I said I wanted to get other quotes, I was sternly informed that I would not find nothing better. Lol. The way transports work is that your “transport need” gets posted on a “board” where the actual transporters or transport companies will bid on them.”

Factors that affect Town n Country Car Shipping Prices
- Distance: The length of the journey from or to Town n Country, FL significantly impacts car shipping costs. Longer distances generally mean higher prices, but the cost per mile typically decreases for longer trips.
- Transport Type: Open trailers are the most common and cost-effective option for auto transport to and from Town n Country. Enclosed carriers offer extra protection but cost about 50% more and may have longer delivery times.
- Location Accessibility: Town n Country’s proximity to major highways like I-275 and I-4 can help reduce shipping costs. Urban areas are generally cheaper to ship to than rural locations.
- Vehicle Size and Weight: Larger or heavier vehicles, such as SUVs or trucks, typically cost more to ship than standard cars due to the space they occupy on the carrier.
- Seasonal Factors: Florida’s peak tourist season, typically from December to April, can affect car shipping prices to and from Town n Country. Summer months also tend to see higher rates due to increased demand.
- Vehicle Condition: Operable vehicles are cheaper to ship as they can be easily loaded and unloaded. Inoperable cars require special equipment, increasing the cost.

Is my vehicle insured transporting to or from Town n Country?
Yes, our quotes are all-inclusive. All of our carriers are required to have a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance and $100,000 in cargo insurance. To ship your vehicle, we verify that the carrier’s insurance policy is valid and in good standing for the duration of your shipment.
All contracted carriers also add Sherpa as a Certificate Holder on their insurance policy.

No payment is due at the time of booking. We do require a payment method on file so that it is available to charge once a carrier is secured. We accept all major debit and credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. What’s the difference between Open vs Enclosed Auto Transport?
Enclosed transport is at least 50% higher than open trailers. We provide one locked-in price upfront and stick to it. If unexpected costs arise, we pay them out of our own pocket. While we may not always be the cheapest option at first glance, our commitment to transparency and reliability offers exceptional value. By considering these factors, you can ensure a smooth car shipping experience to or from Town n Country, FL. Remember, working with a reputable car shipping company like Sherpa Auto Transport can help navigate these seasonal considerations effectively.
Reviews from our Florida Customers
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, as evidenced by our 4.9 rating with over 8,000 reviews. Here are a few more reviews from satisfied Florida customers:
“My fiancée is a wizard when it comes to doing her due diligence and finding the best companies and reading reviews. I asked her to pull her magic and let me know what she thought, and Sherpa was in the top five transport companies and were actually the first ones to answer the phone or respond to my call. Joseph was the gentleman that I talked to. He was very professional and friendly. He made me feel very comfortable with using the company to broker the deal for me. Top Line Auto Service based out of California dropped the car off. The two brothers met me. I had spoken to Joseph on the phone, and figured out what direction they were coming from, which was east from Florida. And based on where I live, I gave them the best place that I thought would be the easiest to pull up an 18-wheeler, and with a truckload of cars, to offload it and meet them to where they could easily get back on the interstate again and go about their day without having to snake through city traffic. We got that place lined up. It was a few miles away from my house. They called me numerous times when they were on the way and got there. The car was dirty, but I expected it to be. It was raining and it was an open truck. But other than that, no damage to the vehicle. The brothers were incredibly friendly and professional people that if I had to use anybody again, I would recommend them and Sherpa. I was very worried throughout the process because I have never purchased a vehicle that I have never seen before, or even driven or heard it idle. They got it to me and it was in good shape. And everything was good. I enjoyed it. Plus they were cool. They had a very exotic, classic car on the truck and they had to offload it to get my car off. They opened the doors and let me peek my head in and take a look at it, and I drooled a bit at how cool the car was. Sherpa`s quote was better than anything that I had received other than ones that were scams. I`ve never done this before. I just signed up online and I was hammered with emails and phone calls from a lot of people that were trying to, “Oh, I`ll beat this price. I`ll do this price.†And I was getting quotes that seemed too good to be true, and they were, because once I went and got my fiancée to do her magic and look these particular companies up, she was like, “Yeah, that`s gonna be a no. Each one of those has terrible reviews and they`re scams.†Because they quoted me 500 bucks, $600, that type of stuff. What Sherpa quoted me wasn`t gonna fluctuate. If it did, they would apply money towards it if need be. It was right on the money. The transport was part of my car purcahsing process that was the fastest, streamlined and very much worth the money that I paid for.”
“First time to ship an automobile in my life. Looking for excellent rating from BBB. Took a while to research because I want a reliable, honest company. Found Sherpa with A+ rating. Talked to a guy name Shane. Made me feel very relax because He is too friendly, courteous, well experience and very confident which made me feel comfortable during transaction. It didn’t take me too long to get my date I wanted to sent my car from Crestview, Florida to Denver Colorado. I gave Shane the date May 23rd I asked for and the driver arrived on that day I asked for. The dispatcher from the company assigned for me were incredible, the lady dispatcher were on top of informing me on date when the driver will come to pick my car. Also I’ve been receiving email from Sherpa information about facts what to expect during the time I will get the car till it arrived to my son`s place. The drivers they hired were so experienced and courteous as well as the dispatcher. I asked the driver if I can put a little gift to my daughter in the trunk and it arrived safely. It took only 2 days to reach the destination as stated by Shane and the sweet drivers. Shane said the price of my shipment is about $1,550 and because I am in military dependent I think I got $50.00 dollars refund. I would say that this Sherpa company is really true, honest to what they say, no hidden fees when my son paid the rest I owed to them, they even offered 20.00 dollars free washing that I did not expect but I just didn’t use it cuz I prefer my son to wash it???? I am real customer not hired phony one. Just like anybody out there who is afraid to be rip off or have bad experience from auto shipping I would gladly says that I am fortunate, blessed to find an excellent service and right freight company to transport my car. My car is one of the investment I need to make sure being taken care of and arrive safely and no damage and with the price I got is equal to peace of mind I got after knowing it took only 2 days and it was received by my son safely with no damage and the company they hire are also well experience. Ask for Shane the guy who do transaction with me. He`s really nice, sweet person. Thank you and God Bless for job well done. I highly recommend them as a broker company. They do excellent job????”
“I purchased a vehicle that was located in Florida and I`m located in Connecticut. So, I needed to transport the vehicle. I went online and Googled transportation companies. For the most part, choosing Sherpa had to do with the reviews that I was seeing on Google. They were good. I dealt with three people and everybody was very professional. They gave me a price right up front and there weren’t any shenanigans. As it turned out, I was able to even get a $100 rebate on my original price because I asked them. So that was great, too. There were no changes in the price once it was set up. They put it on the board and within an hour or two, it was accepted. The final company that picked it up got in touch with me and it all went very smoothly. The driver was concerned about getting into the development where I live and having so many cobblestones because it`s a tractor trailer. But he did a very good job. He contacted me before he got here and to let me know he was an hour away. Sherpa did a nice job photographing the vehicle and they picked it up down in Florida. They took all the pictures of any kind of dings or scratches. The only thing that I would suggest is that they allow you to see that on the bill of lading before they get here. I didn`t get a bill of lading until the driver showed up and he took pictures of the car after he took it off the trailer. Then, that was added to the bill of lading. I would have liked to have seen that before I accepted delivery of the vehicle. I had to give the driver a check for 500 bucks when he took the vehicle off the trailer but there was no way for me to look at the car. It meant that I would have to go back to them. You couldn`t do that right when he took the car off the trailer. But the bill of lading was sent to me immediately after he took the pictures and I signed for it. It was right in my email immediately, so that was good. Everything was very smooth with my experience with Sherpa and the car even got here a day early.”
“If you`ve never used a transport company, read this first . . . One thing to know is if you fill out any form online, you will be bombarded with thirty phone calls, texts, and emails — 30 for each. It was non-stop. My fault for not thinking. Next thing to know is that there are many scam artists who will take your money. Nothing against call centers in another country but the manipulating tactics of these “salesman” made me uncomfortable. We had two cars to transport from south florida to San Diego. Our sons are both marines newly stationed in CA and they needed their cars. I spoke to another transport company who quote $2500 per car. When I said I wanted to get other quotes, I was sternly informed that I would not find nothing better. Lol. The way transports work is that your “transport need” gets posted on a “board” where the actual transporters or transport companies will bid on them. They need their transport truck to be filled. Sometimes, if the quote the company you called (which is a middle man, not the transporter) doesn`t get filled, you will get a call from that company asking you for more money to entice. Transporter to take your bid to transport your cars. You will deal with NONE of that with Sherpa Transport. They guarantee the first price quote in writing that you accept. And there is not a single fee or hidden charge after that. I had such a bad experience with the dozens of calls and abusive quotes that I asked the Sherpa agent how this whole thing works. He as honest and explained it all to me. Then he explained they only with with insured vetted transporters. The experience with the transporter was incredible. The dispatcher called me a few days early and communicated with me the name of river and time window. Then the actual driver called me. He was an Angel! He was so kind and friendly. His truck was top notch and IMMACULATE! I knew the cars would be safe. We paid around $1300 each ($2600 total). Considering the insurance costs, gas, cost to maintain those trucks, and time, it was worth every penny. But the peace of mind was out of this world! I had a safe feeling with Sherpa. I spoke to several agents because my first agent was off the next day when I was due to sign. Every person I spoke to was highly respectful and helpful (night and day to the other companies I spoke to). Note that you have 24 hours to take the quote. You won`t have to worry, you are making the best decision. Great job Sherpa! And reward your agents! They are well trained and caring which is hard to find in this day and age”
“Resolution response: Jan. 25, 2019 If you need your vehicle transported from one state to another, Sherpa Auto Transport is the best company for the job! They treat you like family and will keep you posted through emails throughout the entire process. Sherpa Auto Transport – keep doing what you are doing, and you will become the number one auto transport company in the United States! I recently had death in my family and had to get my uncle’s car from Florida to Maryland. The paperwork to change ownership of the car was slow, but Sherpa Auto Transport stayed in touch with me. They called once a week to ensure me that the price we had initially agreed to would still be honored. They were very compassionate about my situation. They said as soon as I told them the car was ready, they would find a driver. Each step of the way, Sherpa Auto Transport followed up with an email. As soon as I told them the paperwork was in order, I got a call and an email within 20 minutes telling me the driver was ready to pick the car up. LMK Logistics showed up 30 minutes later. The driver was very courtesy, and I could tell he had many years of experience with loading and securing vehicles on the truck. My sister got the car within 24 hours telling her that the driver was about 30 minutes away from her home. After the car was delivered, I received another email from Sherpa Auto Transport confirming the delivery of my vehicle and to tell me that I was entitled to a free car wash on them. I have stored the name and number of this company in my phone for future reference. I highly recommend Sherpa Auto Transport to coordinate the move of any of your vehicles. You will not experience a better class of service. Thank you so much for easing my pain due to the death of my uncle. I will be using you and recommending you to others in the future.”

Car shipping is a fascinating industry. There are Carriers – the businesses that pickup and transport vehicles – and there are Brokers – the businesses that help Carriers source their customers. Carriers are primarily mom & pop small businesses who own and operate their trucks and trailers – many of whom own and operate their businesses out of Florida. This means there are thousands of carriers and this fragmentation creates a need for centralization. That’s why Carriers rely on Brokers – like Sherpa – to help optimize their loads and source business for them. Sherpa vets Carriers and has a strict list of requirements for any Carrier looking to do business with Sherpa Auto Transport.
